The Power of Me..

As we embark in this New Year so many of us are anticipating changes. Yes, there are so many changes that are going to occur this year but there is a formula. That formula has one variable that can change the outcome drastically, and that is You. The formula looks like this... GOD + YOU = MADE POSSIBLE. Why the YOU is so vital is that God can not just hand over anything. There are principals that God follows. (Hmm…even the Creator of the Universe follows rules) You must do your part. You must move upon it. There is effort that is required of you. There are books that God has placed within YOU to write. There is a school that YOU must open. There is a play that YOU must write. There is a product that YOU must create. There is a company that YOU must birth. There is a church that YOU need to begin. There is a song that YOU must sing.

You can’t sit on your hands all day and expect something to be created tomorrow. You need to put some work into it. So many of us are robbed into thinking that if God wants us to have a big house, or to be out of dept, have a multimillion dollar bank account then he will do that for us. God will do what you allow him to do, you have the right to tell God no; and most times no isn’t spoken thru your mouth but hidden as doubt in your heart.

God has put a seed inside of you and he wants for that seed to grow and produce a plentiful harvest for you. But YOU are too afraid to allow that seed to grow. Maybe because you think that all of the potential that seed has is too much for you. You may be thinking that twenty five million dollars is too much for one man to possess. That it is too much to hope for a life of full of peace with no problems. I come to YOU today to say, "Stop sabotaging the seed God has within you."

Do you think that it is a coincidence that your dreams and your goals are yours? Why is it that your dreams are yours and not your best friend’s or your cousin’s? God placed that within YOU, so YOU may bring it to pass. Not your cousin or your best friend because quite frankly if God wanted them to do it then that would be their dream and not yours. Do you think that your dream is too big? That it is too impossible? Well you need to take another look at God and read his resume.

Look at Noah and the Ark. Someone thought it was impossible for the whole world to be flooded, especially for weeks; well that happened. Look at Moses. This man held up a stick and that prompted the sea to split in half until they passed thru nice and dry. I’m sure someone thought that was impossible and that happened too. Do you think that as time progressed, that God would digress?

Remember, both Noah and Moses had to do something in order for God to bless their situation. If Moses would not have, by faith, lifted that stick the sea may not have parted and all the people who came after Moses would have been stuck. If Noah would not have, by faith, built an ark, creation may have been at a stand still. There are some things that are waiting on YOU to move by faith, so they can be what they are destined to be. Those big dreams inside of you can happen. YOU must stop choking your dreams and move with the vision that is within you.

You stop your growth, not God. Too many times we blame God for what we think should have happened, but in reality we need to do a self evaluation. There we shall find the true reason why all that we have hoped to for, isn’t.
